In our central coastal community of Cambria, California USA, there are many fine artists as well as artisans in pottery, sculpture, stained glass, jewelry, and wood craftsmen. We boast dancers, writers and fine chefs. Currently our wee village has  diverse quaint shops with wondrous goods, many hand crafted by local folks as well as over 25 art galleries. Each month Cambria offers some event of fun and fellowship for all. The Arts are featured with open artist studios. You are most welcome to visit mine.

Travelers support Cambria's specialty shops as they head north to see the state park of the extravagantly sumptious Hearst Castle, and also seaside cities of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and then on up to San Francisco. People head south through San Luis Obispo and on down to Los Angeles. Other visitors often travel over here from the 'bread basket of the world' central valley of Fresno, or Bakersfield to escape the heat of summer. In fact, many of the second homes here in Cambria are owned by valley people.

Since we allow no 'fast food' nor gigantic stores, we maintain this quiet yet energetic flavor. Cambria is surrounded by small wineries, pastoral hills, and very friendly people.  Can you tell, I love it here!
